How are transactions and charges handled?

  • Subscriptions are charged to your card when you subscribe and each time the subscription renews.
  • Everything else is paid from your wallet balance: tips, pay-to-unlock posts, paid messages, VIP message credits, live stream tickets, video calls and requests. You add funds to your wallet with your card. See How does my PlayHouse wallet work?

All card payments are made in US dollars through our payment processor. If your card is in another currency, your bank does the conversion.

Before you pay

  • Subscribing: the button shows the price, and the line under it shows when and at what price the subscription renews, or the terms of any free trial or introductory price. Any tax is shown before you confirm.
  • Paying from your wallet: the screen shows the price, your balance and what's left after. Where tax applies, it's included in the price shown.
  • Adding funds: any tax or processing fee is shown before you pay, with the full amount your card is charged.

During a card payment your bank may ask you to confirm. See What is 3D Secure?

Is there a spending limit?

Each paid feature has a minimum and maximum price. See What are the minimum and maximum prices on PlayHouse? Your bank may also set its own limits on your card.

To see what you've paid, go to Profile and select Billing history.
