- How do I start earning on PlayHouse?Verify your identity, add a bank account and set your prices to start earning as a creator.
- How does my PlayHouse wallet work?Top up your wallet to tip and buy content, see your history, and learn who can see your balance.
- What payment methods can I use?PlayHouse takes credit and debit cards. Your wallet is topped up from your card.
- How do I add a card?Add a credit or debit card from the Debit/Credit Card screen. Limits on saved cards are shown there.
- What currency does PlayHouse use?Prices are shown and charged in US dollars. Your bank converts to your currency.
- Is my card information safe?Card details go straight to our payment processor's secure form. PlayHouse doesn't store your full card number.
- How much of my earnings do I keep?Creators keep 85% of what fans pay. PlayHouse's platform fee is 15%.
- How is a PlayHouse charge shown on my card statement?PlayHouse charges show on your card statement under a PlayHouse name.
- What is 3D Secure?3D Secure is a check by your bank that confirms it's really you making a card payment.
- What should I do if my payment fails?Common reasons a card payment or tip fails, and what to check before you try again.
- What are the minimum and maximum prices on PlayHouse?Every paid feature has a minimum and maximum price. The app shows them when you set or pay one.
- What's the difference between gross and net earnings?Gross is what fans paid for your content. Net is what you keep after the platform fee and any agency share.
- How are transactions and charges handled?How subscriptions, wallet top-ups and purchases are charged, and the checks your bank may ask for.
- Will I pay any fees or tax on top of the price?If tax or a processing fee applies to a payment, it's shown with the total before you confirm.
- How do payouts work?Earnings are pending for 7 days, then you can withdraw them to your bank. Our team reviews and sends each payout.
- Why can't I withdraw my earnings?The usual reasons a withdrawal is blocked, and how to fix each one.
- What does a pending charge mean?A pending charge is a payment your bank hasn't finalised yet, or a temporary check when you add a card.
- Can I get a refund?When PlayHouse refunds a purchase, what happens with tips and content, and how to cancel future charges.
- Does PlayHouse withhold tax from my payouts?PlayHouse doesn't deduct income tax from your payouts. You're responsible for your own tax.
- What happens if I dispute a charge with my bank?Try us first. A chargeback reverses the payment, and your account may be reviewed.
- How much of my payout will I receive?The withdrawal form shows the amount you'll receive, after any withdrawal fee, before you confirm.
- Can I take payments outside PlayHouse?No. All payments between fans and creators must go through PlayHouse.
- My payout hasn't arrived. What should I do?Check your withdrawal's status and bank details first, then contact us with the details.
- Why is my payout on hold or rejected?Payouts can pause for re-verification, an investigation hold or a negative balance. Here's what to do.
- Can I cancel a withdrawal?A withdrawal can be cancelled before it's paid. The money goes back to your wallet.
- What happens to my earnings if a fan gets a refund or chargeback?Your share of a refunded or charged-back payment is taken back from your balance, which can go negative.
