What does a pending charge mean?
A pending charge is one your bank hasn't finished processing yet. Once it's finalised, it either becomes a normal charge or drops off your statement.
You might see one when:
- you've just paid, and the payment is still being processed;
- you add a new card. Some banks show a temporary authorisation while the card is checked. It isn't a purchase, and your bank releases it.
How long a pending item stays visible depends on your bank. If a pending charge doesn't match anything in your Wallet transactions or subscriptions, see How is a PlayHouse charge shown on my statement?
