Can I get a refund?
Purchases on PlayHouse are generally final. When a refund does happen, it goes to your Wallet by default. Refunded money in your wallet can be spent on PlayHouse but not withdrawn.
Where the law requires a refund to your original payment method, you can choose that instead. Contact us, choose Payments, wallet or refunds, and tell us.
When you're refunded automatically
- Requests: if the creator declines your request or doesn't accept it in time, you're refunded. You can also cancel a request yourself while it's waiting: open it in Requests and calls and select Cancel and get a refund.
- Video calls: you can cancel a booked call before it starts with Cancel and get a refund. If the creator declines or cancels your call, you're refunded in full. After a call, the creator is paid only if you were both in the call for at least 80% of the booked time. Otherwise you're refunded in full. See How do video calls with creators work?
- Live stream tickets: if a stream you paid for doesn't start or is canceled, you're refunded.
Other refunds
There's no self-service refund for other purchases. PlayHouse may refund a purchase to your wallet at its discretion, for example after a breach of our rules or suspected fraud. Content being removed later doesn't, by itself, mean a refund.
Tips are voluntary and generally final. If something went wrong with a payment, contact us and choose Payments, wallet or refunds.
Stop future charges
Canceling a subscription stops it from renewing. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. See How do I cancel a subscription?
If you think you were charged by mistake, contact us before you dispute it with your bank. A dispute suspends your account. See What happens if I dispute a charge with my bank?
