What's the difference between gross and net earnings?

  • Gross is the full price fans paid for your subscriptions, tips and paid content, before anything is deducted. Tax added to a fan's price isn't included in your earnings.
  • Net is what reaches your wallet: gross minus the 15% platform fee and, if you work with an agency, the agency's share.

Where to see each

  • Insights (go to Profile and select Insights) shows Sales, before fees for the period you choose, broken down by type. That's your gross. It also shows the platform fee and any agency share taken, and your net earnings for the period.
  • Wallet and withdrawals shows the money you've earned, after fees, as Pending and Withdrawable amounts, with how long pending earnings are held and each payment in your History.

Refunds and chargebacks are taken back from your earnings afterward. See What happens to my earnings if a fan gets a refund or chargeback?

Any withdrawal fee is separate. It's shown on the review screen before you confirm a withdrawal. See How much of my payout will I receive?
