What happens to my earnings if a fan gets a refund or chargeback?
If a fan's payment is refunded, or the fan wins a chargeback with their bank, your share of that payment is taken back from your wallet.
What's taken back:
- your share of the payment: the proportion that was refunded, so a partial refund takes back part of it;
- the processing-fee and tax parts of the refunded amount;
- your agency's commission, if you have an agency. It's taken back from the agency's wallet, not yours.
PlayHouse covers its own platform fee on card refunds and chargebacks.
If your balance goes negative
The deduction can take your balance below zero. While it's negative you can't withdraw, and new earnings pay it off first.
You'll see these deductions in your Wallet transactions. Our Terms explain our rights during investigations, including holding earnings.
