How does agency commission work?
Agency commission is the percentage of your earnings that you agree to pay your agency for its work. You set it when you send your request, starting from the agency's standard rate.
How it's taken
- The commission is worked out on the full price of every paid sale, the same base as the 15% platform fee.
- Both come off the sale automatically, so you don't pay the agency yourself. The agency's share goes straight to its agency wallet.
- For example, with a 20% agency commission, a $10 sale gives your agency $2 and PlayHouse $1.50, and you keep $6.50.
Refunds and chargebacks
If a sale is refunded or charged back, the agency's share of it is reversed too, along with yours. See refunds and chargebacks for creators.
Changing or ending it
Commission only applies while you're linked. If you leave your agency, it stops for new sales. To agree a different rate, talk to your agency first.
