Why is my payout on hold or rejected?

A payout can be paused or rejected for a few reasons.

You need to verify your identity again

Creator verification is automated through our verification provider. Sometimes we need you to verify again, for example when a previous verification has expired. Until you do, earnings and withdrawals stay locked. Follow the prompt in the app to verify again. See Creator verification.

Your earnings are on hold

While we investigate a possible breach of our Terms or suspected fraud, we can hold some or all of your earnings and pause payouts. Depending on the outcome, held earnings may be released or forfeited. If action was taken on your account and you disagree, you can appeal.

Your request was rejected

If a withdrawal shows Rejected or Failed, the money goes back to your wallet. Common causes are wrong bank details or details that don't match your verified identity. Fix the details and request again.

Your balance is negative

If refunds or chargebacks took your balance below zero, new earnings cover that first. See Chargebacks for creators.
