Who can use PlayHouse?

PlayHouse is for adults. To use it, you must:

• be at least 18 years old;
• be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, if your local law sets an age higher than 18; and
• be allowed by the laws where you are to join PlayHouse, view its content and use its features.

If you don't meet these requirements, you must not use PlayHouse. The full rules are in our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

How you join

All you need is an email address. You sign up and sign in with your email and a 6-digit code we send you. See How do I sign up as a fan?

Confirming your age

Fans confirm they're 18 or over once, the first time they subscribe, unlock paid content, buy a ticket or VIP messages, join a livestream, open photos or videos in messages, or turn on sensitive content. Until you've confirmed your age, sensitive and paid content stays locked. When you see Confirm you're 18 or over, choose either:

• Use a credit card: we check the card with your bank and you aren't charged. Debit and prepaid cards can't confirm your age.
• Take a quick selfie: about a minute, with our identity verification provider. Some people are also asked for a photo ID.

Once you're verified, you won't be asked again on that account. Creators confirm their age differently, with their date of birth and an identity check. See Age and Identity Verification.

Fans, creators and agencies

• Fans follow and subscribe to creators and buy their content.
• Creators sell subscriptions, posts, messages and more. They pass a one-time identity check before fans can subscribe. See How do I become a creator?
• Agencies help creators run their accounts. An agency account works once PlayHouse has approved it, which includes a business verification check. See Why manage creators on PlayHouse as an agency?

Sensitive content

Some posts are marked sensitive. Everyone else sees them blurred. To see them without the blur, sign in, confirm your age, then turn on Show sensitive content in Edit profile.
