Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated October 2026

By using PlayHouse, you agree to this Acceptable Use Policy. Please read it carefully. If you break it, we may remove your Content, restrict or close your account, and withhold or forfeit earnings, as set out in our Terms of Service.

This Policy is part of the Terms of Service between you and Vallara, Inc., the company that operates PlayHouse. It applies to everyone who uses PlayHouse, including Fans, Creators, Agencies and Agency team members, and to everything you do on PlayHouse: posts, stories, reels, your profile photo, banner, display name and bio, comments, direct messages, mass messages and paid messages, livestreams, video calls, video requests and custom orders, and any other Content. Words with capital letters have the meanings given in the Terms of Service, and "including" means "including without limitation."

These rules apply whether Content is real, staged, role-played, fictional, drawn, animated, edited or generated by artificial intelligence (AI), and whether it is free, paid or sent privately in a message. Using code words, emojis, misspellings, images of text or other signals to say or offer something this Policy prohibits is also prohibited.

1. Minors and anything that sexualizes minors

PlayHouse is for adults only. Do not use PlayHouse in any manner that features or facilitates anyone under the age of 18, or the actual, claimed or role-played exploitation, abuse or harm of anyone under 18. This includes:

  • any Content that features a person under 18, in any context;
  • any Content that shows, involves or suggests a person under 18 in any sexual context, including Content in which an adult is presented as, or appears to be, under 18;
  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, whether real, drawn, animated, edited or AI-generated;
  • sexual Content, comments or messages about minors, and any request for or offer of such content;
  • role-play, ageplay or fantasy in which anyone is portrayed as under 18, or as a child, in any sexual context;
  • framing that suggests a participant is under 18, such as the words "teen," "underage," "barely legal," "jailbait," "loli," "schoolgirl" or "schoolboy," school uniforms or classroom settings in a sexual context, or childlike props, costumes, voices or settings (for example toys, pacifiers, diapers or nurseries);
  • grooming, contacting or attempting to contact a minor for a sexual purpose, and threatening a minor to obtain images, money or anything else; and
  • letting anyone under 18 use your account, appear in your Content, or be present during a livestream or video call.

We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, as US law (18 U.S.C. §2258A) requires, and we preserve evidence as the law requires. To learn more, see Combating Child Sexual Abuse Material.

2. Who can appear in Content

  1. Do not use PlayHouse in any manner that features anyone in explicit Content who is over 18 and who has not completed our Creator onboarding process or a properly completed co-performer release form.
  2. This means every person who appears in sexually explicit Content, or Content that contains nudity, must be either a verified PlayHouse Creator, tagged by their PlayHouse @username in the caption, or an adult who has completed PlayHouse's co-performer release form for that Content, which verifies their age and identity and records their consent. The Terms of Service explain how this works, in Content featuring other people.
  3. Content that is not sexually explicit and contains no nudity may show other adults who have consented to appearing in it. You must hold their consent.
  4. If Content features more than one verified Creator, each of them must have agreed to be recorded and to the Content being published on PlayHouse, and each must be able to confirm that agreement to us when we ask.
  5. This rule applies to Fans too. A Fan must not send or upload explicit images or videos of themselves, including in messages, unless they have completed Creator verification or a co-performer release form, and must never send explicit images or videos of anyone else.
  6. You are responsible for keeping any records the law requires for Content you produce, including under 18 U.S.C. §2257 where it applies. See our 18 U.S.C. §2257 Statement.

Everyone who appears in Content must have freely agreed to be recorded and to the Content being shared on PlayHouse. You must not upload, share, request or threaten to share:

  • intimate images or videos of any person without their consent (sometimes called "revenge porn"), including content leaked or taken from another website or from PlayHouse;
  • Content recorded without the knowledge and consent of everyone in it, including from hidden cameras, voyeurism, "upskirting" or "downblousing," and secretly recorded calls, livestreams or messages;
  • Content showing a person who cannot consent, such as someone asleep, unconscious, intoxicated, drugged or hypnotized, whether real or role-played;
  • Content showing or simulating sexual activity without consent, including rape, sexual assault, and "forced" or "non-consent" role-play;
  • deepfakes and other digital forgeries: sexual or intimate Content, whether created with AI, editing software or any other tool, that depicts a real, identifiable person other than you, including face swaps and "nudify" edits; and
  • demands for money, images or anything else in exchange for not sharing, or for removing, intimate Content (sextortion).

Do not send sexual Content or sexual messages to anyone who has not chosen to receive them or has asked you to stop.

If someone who appears in your Content withdraws their consent to it being published, you must remove it. We remove Content when we learn that consent has been withdrawn. If intimate content of you has been shared on PlayHouse without your consent, anyone can ask us to remove it through our intimate image removal form, without an account, or, if you are signed in, at Report leaked content or impersonation. We remove intimate images shared without consent within 48 hours of a valid request, together with identical copies we find on PlayHouse. To learn more, see Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery and Consent.

4. Prohibited sexual content

The following are prohibited, whether real, simulated, role-played or fictional:

  • incest, including incest role-play, even when it is entirely fictional;
  • bestiality, sexual activity involving animals, and nudity or sexual Content in the presence of animals;
  • necrophilia;
  • rape or sexual assault;
  • violence or harm, including prohibited role-play, lack of express consent, extreme impact, extreme bondage, torture, mutilation and suicide;
  • using objects in any way that is likely to cause physical or mental harm;
  • blood, gore and other extreme content; and
  • prohibited bodily fluids, including urine and excrement, and other bodily waste.

5. Public places and local law

  • Do not share Content of sexual activity recorded in or broadcast from a public place where members of the public are present or are reasonably likely to see it. Private outdoor places where members of the public are not present, such as a private backyard or a secluded area in nature, are not public places for this purpose.
  • Do not share Content of nudity recorded in or broadcast from a place where public nudity is illegal.
  • No nudity in profile photos, banners or livestream covers. Your profile photo, your cover or banner image and any livestream cover image are visible to the public, so they must not contain nudity or sexually explicit conduct.
  • Do not share Content that was illegal to create where it was captured, or that is illegal where you are.

6. In-person meetings, sex work and trafficking

PlayHouse must not be used to promote or facilitate prostitution or the sale of in-person sexual services. You must not:

  • offer, advertise, arrange or ask for in-person sexual services, escorting, prostitution, or "sugar" arrangements involving sex;
  • offer, arrange or promote in-person meetings between Creators and Fans, including dates, meet-and-greets, and raffles, contests or competitions to meet a Creator;
  • take part in or facilitate human trafficking, sexual exploitation or forced labor; or
  • force, threaten, deceive or pressure anyone into creating Content, appearing in Content or performing, or control another person's account or earnings against their will.

To learn more, see Preventing Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.

7. Hate, harassment, threats and doxxing

You must not use PlayHouse to:

  • attack, dehumanize, vilify, exclude or incite hatred or violence against anyone because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, immigration status, caste, religion, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, serious illness or veteran status;
  • bully, harass, stalk, intimidate or abuse anyone, including by repeatedly contacting someone who does not want to hear from you or by creating new accounts to contact someone who has blocked you;
  • threaten violence or harm, encourage others to harass or harm anyone, or praise or support terrorism or violent extremism;
  • publish, or threaten to publish, another person's private information without their permission (doxxing), such as their legal name, home or work address, phone number, location, identity documents, account credentials, financial information or medical information; or
  • make false statements of fact that damage someone's reputation.

To learn more, see Hate Speech, Harassment and Threats.

8. Violence, weapons, drugs and self-harm

Do not share Content that shows, promotes, sells or gives instructions for:

  • graphic violence, or cruelty to people or animals;
  • firearms or other weapons, including weapons used or displayed in a threatening way or in sexual Content, and instructions for making weapons or explosives;
  • illegal drugs, drug use or drug paraphernalia, or the sale of prescription drugs or other controlled or regulated items;
  • suicide, self-harm or eating disorders, including encouraging or glorifying them; or
  • dangerous activities that are likely to cause serious injury.

If you are thinking about harming yourself, or you are worried about someone else, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country.

9. Fraud, scams and payments

You must not use PlayHouse to deceive anyone or to misuse payments. In particular, you must not:

  • run scams or phishing, or trick anyone into giving you money, Content, personal information or their PlayHouse sign-in code;
  • describe paid Content, a paid message, a video call, a video request or a custom order inaccurately, or take payment for something you do not intend to deliver;
  • use a stolen card or any payment method you are not authorized to use, or test cards;
  • start a chargeback other than in good faith (if you have a problem with a purchase, contact us first through our contact form);
  • buy from, tip or subscribe to your own account, or use other accounts you own, control or coordinate with to make purchases from your account or to inflate your earnings;
  • use PlayHouse to launder money, evade sanctions, finance terrorism or move money for any purpose other than genuine payment for Content and interactions;
  • demand payment or anything else in exchange for removing Content; or
  • promote pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, "get rich quick" schemes, or investment or cryptocurrency schemes.

To learn more, see Preventing Fraud and Money Laundering.

10. Contact details and off-platform payments

Payments between Fans and Creators must go through PlayHouse. This protects Fans and Creators, lets us check age and identity before people pay, and keeps Content subject to our safety checks. You must not:

  • ask for, offer or accept payment outside PlayHouse for Content or interactions that start on PlayHouse, or steer Fans to another website, app or service to pay or to continue a paid relationship;
  • share contact details (such as phone numbers or email addresses), payment handles, cryptocurrency wallet addresses, or usernames on other messaging services in messages, captions, comments, your bio or your display name; or
  • use code words, spacing, images or other workarounds to get around these rules.

You may add links to your social media profiles in the profile fields PlayHouse provides for them, and you may tag another PlayHouse Creator by their PlayHouse @username.

Our automated text rules check messages, captions and profile text for prohibited terms, contact details, payment handles and attempts to move people off PlayHouse. A message that contains a payment handle may be held, and other matches may be sent for review.

11. Artificial intelligence

  1. Label AI Content of yourself. You may share Content that has been generated, altered or enhanced with AI only if it complies with the Terms of Service and this Policy, clearly features you, the verified Creator, and is clearly labeled, for example with #ai or #AIGenerated.
  2. No AI Content of other real people. Do not create or share AI-generated or AI-altered Content that depicts any real person other than you, whether or not it is sexual. Any explicit image of another person without their consent, including an artificially generated image, is prohibited.
  3. Real, verified Creators. Every Creator account must belong to a real person who has completed our identity verification and who appears in, or is responsible for, the Content on it. You may use an AI-generated profile picture, but it must not depict a real person other than you or appear to depict anyone under 18, and Creator verification still requires a real person and a real, live image.
  4. No AI chatbots in chats or messages. Do not use an AI chatbot or any other automated tool to write chats or direct messages. Messages you write yourself and send using PlayHouse's own tools, such as mass messages and auto-messages, are allowed.
  5. No AI training. Do not use Content or other information from PlayHouse to train, fine-tune or test any AI or machine-learning system.

12. Intellectual property and impersonation

  • Only share Content you own or have permission to use. Do not share other people's photos, videos, music, film or TV clips, artwork or other copyrighted material without permission, or use other people's trademarks in a way that misleads people or sells counterfeit goods.
  • Do not impersonate PlayHouse, Vallara, our staff, another User, a public figure or any other person or organization, or falsely suggest that you are affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.
  • Do not use the PlayHouse name or logo, or anything confusingly similar, except as the Terms of Service allow or as we agree in writing.

We respond to notices of copyright infringement under our DMCA and Copyright Policy, and we close the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. To report infringement, use our copyright request form. If someone is impersonating you, report it at Report leaked content or impersonation.

13. Copying, scraping and downloading

Access to Content on PlayHouse is for your personal viewing on PlayHouse only. You must not:

  • download, screenshot, screen-record, copy, repost, share, sell or otherwise distribute another User's Content outside PlayHouse, including Content you have paid for;
  • record a livestream or video call;
  • share your account or access to paid Content with anyone else; or
  • use bots, scrapers, crawlers, browser extensions or other automated tools to access PlayHouse or to collect Content or information from it.

14. Spam, manipulation and circumvention

You must not:

  • send spam, including repetitive or unsolicited bulk messages, comments or follows, or misleading links;
  • buy, sell or fake likes, follows, subscriptions, views or other engagement, or otherwise try to manipulate how Content or Creators are ranked or recommended;
  • present pre-recorded material as live in a livestream or video call;
  • get around age assurance or identity verification, including by using another person's identity document, face or card;
  • get around a paywall, a block, a messaging restriction, a moderation decision, a suspension or a ban, including by opening another account;
  • introduce malware, overload or disrupt PlayHouse, access accounts or systems you are not authorized to access, or decompile or reverse engineer PlayHouse;
  • probe or test PlayHouse for security vulnerabilities, except as our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy allows; or
  • misuse our reporting, appeal, complaint or copyright processes, for example by making reports you know to be false or reporting in bad faith.

15. Accounts and accurate information

  • Give us accurate, complete information and keep it up to date. Do not use another person's identity, documents, face or payment method.
  • A Creator account belongs to one person: the verified Creator. Do not sell, rent, transfer or share your account, and never share your sign-in codes. The only exception is that a Creator may let an Agency verified and approved by PlayHouse work in their account through PlayHouse's agency tools, as our Agency Terms allow.
  • If you are an Agency team member writing to Fans for a Creator, never claim to be the Creator personally when a Fan asks you directly.
  • Do not open a new account if we have closed or banned a previous account of yours.
  • Do not misrepresent who you are or what you offer, in your profile or anywhere else on PlayHouse.

16. Advertising and other commercial activity

  • Do not use PlayHouse to advertise or sell goods or services other than your own Content and the interactions PlayHouse's features support, unless we have agreed in writing.
  • Do not run contests, sweepstakes, lotteries, raffles or giveaways on PlayHouse.
  • Do not sell or promote weapons, drugs or other controlled or regulated goods.
  • If you share a PlayHouse invite link, follow our Referral Program Terms.

17. How we enforce this Policy

We use automated tools and human review to enforce this Policy. Our Content Moderation Policy explains how this works. In summary:

  • Media you upload is checked before it is published, including by matching it against known child sexual abuse material and non-consensual intimate imagery using Microsoft PhotoDNA and the hash lists of NCMEC's Take It Down service and StopNCII, and by automated classifiers. We check Content again when those hash lists are updated.
  • Automated text rules check messages, captions and profile text, as described in section 10.
  • Items flagged by our tools, and every report from Users, go to our trained moderation team. We may also review any Content or account at any time.

If we find a breach, we may:

  • remove Content;
  • warn you;
  • restrict Content, which means it stays visible to your existing subscribers but is marked as sensitive and removed from discovery;
  • stop a livestream or end a video call;
  • freeze your account, which means you cannot sign in and your earnings are held while we investigate;
  • suspend or close your account;
  • withhold or forfeit earnings, and refund Fans, as set out in the Terms of Service; and
  • report the matter to NCMEC, law enforcement or other authorities where the law requires or allows it.

We aim to respond in proportion to the breach, taking into account how serious it is, whether it was deliberate, your account's history and the risk of harm to others. Serious breaches, such as anything involving minors, non-consent or trafficking, may lead to immediate and permanent closure of your account without a warning.

When we remove or restrict your Content, warn you, or freeze, suspend or close your account, we email you a statement of reasons that explains what we decided and why, whether automated means were used, and how to appeal, unless the law or the safety of others prevents us from doing so. You can appeal a decision about your Content at /moderation-appeal (you need to be signed in), or a decision about your account at /appeal. Appeals are decided by someone who was not involved in the original decision. Decisions about child sexual abuse material cannot be appealed through those routes, but you can ask for a false-positive review through our legal request form (choose "Legal inquiry"), and an uploader whose Content was removed as non-consensual intimate imagery can seek a review the same way. Confirmed child sexual abuse material is never restored. Our Appeals Policy explains which decisions can be appealed and how appeals are handled.

18. How to report a breach

  • Use the Report action on any post, profile, story, comment, message, conversation, livestream or video call. You need to be signed in to use it.
  • If an intimate image of you was shared without your consent, anyone can use our intimate image removal form, without an account. If you are signed in, you can also use Report leaked content or impersonation, which also covers someone impersonating you.
  • To report copyright infringement, use our copyright request form (no account needed).
  • If you are not signed in or don't have an account, report other illegal or harmful Content through our contact form and choose Report illegal or harmful content. For legal inquiries, use our legal request form.
  • We confirm that we have received your report and tell you the outcome.
  • If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

To learn how we handle complaints, see our Complaints Policy.

19. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will tell you about changes as the Terms of Service describe. If you are a Business User in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our Platform-to-Business Terms also apply to changes.
