How do free trials work?

Some creators offer a free trial on a subscription plan. It lasts 7, 14 or 30 days, depending on the creator.

Start a trial

  1. On the creator's page, select Start free trial.
  2. Under Pay with, choose a card. You need one, even though nothing is charged today.
  3. Under the button, check what you'll pay after the trial and the date it starts.
  4. Confirm. You'll see Your free trial has started.

When the trial ends

  • On the end date, your card is charged the plan's regular price, and the subscription renews automatically from then on.
  • To avoid being charged, cancel before the end date: go to Profile, select Subscriptions, then Cancel. See How do I cancel a subscription?.

In Subscriptions, a running trial shows Free trial, then the price and the date the charge starts.

Who can get a trial

Most trials are for people who have never subscribed to that creator. Some creators also offer them to past subscribers. If you can't use a trial, for example because you've had one before, you'll see that the offer isn't available to you, and you can subscribe at the regular price instead.
