Anti-Slavery and Anti-Trafficking Statement

Last updated October 2026

PlayHouse (https://playhouse.fans) is owned and operated by Vallara, Inc. ("Vallara", "we", "us" or "our"), a Delaware corporation. Modern slavery and human trafficking, including forced labor, servitude, debt bondage and sex trafficking, are serious crimes and violations of fundamental human rights. We do not tolerate them on PlayHouse, in our business or in our supply chain.

This statement is made in line with our values and with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018 and the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010. It sets out our business and supply chain, the policies and controls we use to prevent, detect and respond to the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking, and how anyone can raise a concern.

1. Our business

1.1 PlayHouse is a subscription platform, provided as a web app, on which independent adult Creators share Content with their Fans and earn money from subscriptions, paid posts and messages, tips, livestreams and video calls. Creators may work with Agencies that help them run their accounts.

1.2 Creators are independent. They are not our employees, and we do not produce, commission or direct their Content. We earn a platform fee on the sales Creators make.

2. Our supply chain

2.1 Our supply chain is made up mainly of technology and service providers. The main categories are:

  • cloud hosting and content delivery: the infrastructure on which PlayHouse runs and through which Content is delivered;
  • payments: our payment processor, which processes card payments;
  • identity and age verification: our identity verification provider, which verifies Creators' identity and age and carries out age assurance for Fans;
  • content safety: hash-matching and automated image and video classification tools that we use to check uploads, including Microsoft PhotoDNA and the hash lists of NCMEC's Take It Down service and StopNCII.org; and
  • software and communications: providers of business software, email delivery and security services.

3. Our policies

3.1 Our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy prohibit Content and conduct that promotes or facilitates human trafficking, sexual exploitation, coerced sexual activity, prostitution or escort services. They also prohibit Content showing any other person unless that person is an adult who has consented to appear in it and to its publication, and they allow sexually explicit or nude Content to show another person only if that person is also a verified PlayHouse Creator or has completed our co-performer release form, which verifies their age and identity and records their consent. They prohibit in-person meetings arranged through PlayHouse.

3.2 Our Agency Terms set out what an Agency may and may not do on a Creator's behalf.

3.3 Our Safety and Transparency Center explains how we apply these rules, including in Preventing Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking, Content Moderation Policy and Age and Identity Verification.

3.4 We expect our staff, contractors and suppliers to comply with all laws on modern slavery and human trafficking. We may end a relationship with any supplier or contractor that does not.

4. Due diligence and controls

Creator verification and screening

4.1 Before an account is approved as a Creator account, the account holder must pass identity verification: an identity document check, a liveness check, a match between their face and their identity document, and screening against sanctions, politically exposed persons and other watchlists. Creators must be at least 18.

4.2 A Creator must pass identity verification before receiving any payout. Payouts are made by bank transfer only to a bank account in the Creator's own name, and every payout is approved by our team. A Creator's first payout, and payouts with unusual payer patterns, receive additional review.

4.3 A person who appears in a Creator's explicit or nude Content and is not a PlayHouse Creator must complete our co-performer release form first.

Agency controls

4.4 An Agency cannot work with Creators until it has passed our business verification and we have approved it. An Agency can act in a Creator's account only on the Creator's work, such as messages, posts and offers. The Creator's own settings, including their security settings, email address, payout details and identity, stay under the Creator's control. Profiles and chats that an Agency helps to manage are marked so that Fans can see it.

4.5 An Agency's commission is a percentage agreed with the Creator and is capped so that it, together with our fee, can never exceed the price paid. Our platform fee, the Creator's earnings and the Agency's commission are separate transactions, and an Agency can withdraw only its own commission, never any part of the Creator's earnings.

Content and messaging controls

4.6 Images and videos uploaded to PlayHouse are checked before they are published, including against known child sexual abuse material and non-consensual intimate imagery, and with automated image and video classification tools. Automated text rules check messages, captions and profile text for prohibited terms (including terms associated with escort services and the exploitation of minors), contact and payment details, and attempts to move conversations or payments off PlayHouse. Matches are held or sent for review by our staff.

4.7 Fans must pass age assurance before they can see sensitive or paid Content, subscribe, join livestreams or view media in messages.

4.8 Every post, profile, story, comment, message, conversation, livestream and video call on PlayHouse has a Report option, and every report opens a case for our trust and safety team.

How we respond

4.9 Where we find signs of trafficking or exploitation, we may remove Content, freeze accounts, hold earnings and end accounts. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC as US law requires, and we may refer other matters to law enforcement where the law allows. We respond to valid law enforcement requests as described in Assisting Law Enforcement.

5. Where the risks are

5.1 We consider the main risk of modern slavery and human trafficking connected with our business to be on the platform itself: that a person could be coerced into creating Content, or that a third party could control a Creator's account or earnings. Content that shows more than one person, and arrangements in which someone other than the Creator manages the account, call for particular care.

5.2 We consider the risk in our supply chain to be lower, because our main suppliers provide technology and professional services. We keep this assessment under review.

5.3 The controls in section 4 are designed to address these risks. We review them as our platform and the risks change.

6. Training and awareness

6.1 The people who review reports and Content on PlayHouse are trained to recognize the signs of trafficking and exploitation and to escalate a concern immediately. We make sure our staff know about these risks, our position on them, and how to report a concern.

7. How to report a concern

7.1 If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

7.2 To report a concern about Content or an account on PlayHouse, use Report on the Content or account, or our help center contact form (choose "Report illegal or harmful content"). If intimate Content of you has been shared without your consent, use our intimate image removal form or, if you are signed in, Report leaked content or impersonation. To report a concern about Vallara, our staff, contractors or suppliers, use our legal request form and choose "Legal inquiry".

7.3 We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

7.4 You can also contact a specialist helpline, such as the US National Human Trafficking Hotline (1-888-373-7888) or the UK Modern Slavery and Exploitation Helpline (08000 121 700).

8. Continuous improvement and review

8.1 Our work against modern slavery and human trafficking is ongoing. We will continue to identify and assess risks in our business and supply chain, strengthen the controls that address them, protect people who raise concerns, and keep up to date with the laws referred to in this statement.

8.2 We review this statement each year, and sooner if our business or the risks change.

9. Responsibility for this statement

Vallara's leadership has overall responsibility for this statement and for making sure that our policies on modern slavery and human trafficking are followed. Questions about this statement can be sent through our legal request form (choose "Legal inquiry").
