Introduction: PlayHouse is a platform for creators and fans to express themselves freely and connect with each other. To ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone, we have established this Content Moderation Policy. This policy outlines the types of content allowed and prohibited on PlayHouse, as well as the consequences for violating our terms.
Why We Moderate Content: Our goal is to create a space where creators can monetize their content and engage with their fanbase while protecting our community. We moderate content to ensure it complies with our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Community Guidelines.
What Content We Moderate: We may review and remove any content shared on PlayHouse, including text, audio, images, videos, live streams, and direct messages.
How We Moderate Content: PlayHouse utilizes a combination of advanced digital technologies and human moderation to review content. Our trained moderators identify and take action to remove any content that violates our Terms of Service.
Technology Used for Content Moderation: We employ various technology tools to identify potentially harmful content, including: – Hashlists and Stop Words: These scan media, audio, and text to block prohibited terms and images. Hashlists are collections of unique identifiers assigned to harmful online media, such as non-consensual intimate images (NCII) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). – Image and Text Scanning: These tools automatically scan media and text for potential violations, which are then reviewed by human moderators.
Consequences of Sharing Improper Content: If you share content that violates our Terms of Service, we may take the following actions: – Deactivate the content. – Issue a warning. – Issue a final warning. – Deactivate your account. – Ban you from the PlayHouse platform. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Reasons for Content Removal: We commonly remove content for violations of our Acceptable Use Policy, such as content that: – Features a creator we cannot verify as 18+. – Features a creator whose identity we cannot verify, including AI-generated accounts or content. – Features a creator pretending to be under 18, even in role-play or fiction. – Is sexually explicit and includes a person who is not the verified creator and has not confirmed their age, identity, or consent. – Involves nudity in a public place or around animals. – Is illegal where you live or where the content was captured. – Features blood, violence, or extreme content. – Features weapons or illegal drugs. – Features everyday objects used in a way that could cause harm, including as sex toys. – Refers to creators and fans meeting in person, including raffles and competitions.
Illegal Content: We will deactivate any illegal content and report it to law enforcement when appropriate. We report all suspected CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through their Cyber Tipline.
Appealing a Content Moderation Decision: If you believe your content or account was incorrectly deactivated, you can appeal the decision by completing a PlayHouse Deactivation Appeal Form, in accordance with our Appeals Policy.
