What can I show in a livestream?
Anything you stream has to follow the same rules as your posts: if you can't post it, you can't stream it. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
Everyone on camera
Everyone who appears must be 18 or older and have agreed to appear. If your stream is explicit or shows nudity, everyone on camera must be a verified PlayHouse creator or an adult who has completed our co-performer release form. See Can my content feature other people?.
Your stream cover must be safe for work, with no nudity.
Rights to what you show
You need the rights to everything in your stream, including background music, video game footage and clips. Either you own it, or the rights holder has given you permission.
Streaming games
Check the game publisher's terms before you stream a game. Many publishers don't allow their games to be streamed behind a paywall or in adult content.
Reports
Viewers can report a stream, and our team can stop a stream that breaks our rules.
If you or someone you're with is in danger, contact your local emergency services. To talk to someone, find a crisis helpline at Befrienders Worldwide or the IASP directory, or see Where can I find a crisis helpline?.
If you break the rules
Your stream can be stopped, and your account restricted or banned. See How does content moderation work for creators?.
