- How do I get verified as a creator?Sign up at Become a creator, then complete a one-time identity check with your photo ID in your browser. Approval is automated.
- Why was my creator application declined?Most declines come from an identity check that couldn't confirm who you are. Check your ID, then choose Try again on your onboarding page.
- Can I become a creator from my country?Anyone 18 or older can apply. Where you can be paid depends on your bank account's country, which you pick when you add a bank account in your Wallet.
- What's the difference between Everyone, Subscribers and Pay to unlock posts?When you share a post, Who can see it sets the audience: Everyone (free), Subscribers (included in a subscription) or Pay to unlock (a one-time price).
- How do I set up subscription plans?Tap Profile, then Subscription plans. Choose Add a plan, pick a length and set a price. You can add a sale price, a description and an offer.
- How do free trials and introductory offers work?Add a 7, 14 or 30-day free trial, or an intro price for 1 to 12 periods, to any plan, for new subscribers or past subscribers.
- Where can I see my insights and analytics?Insights shows your sales, the fees taken and what you earned after them, plus sales by type, your audience and top posts, for 7 days to 12 months.
- How can I grow my audience and get featured?Complete your profile, post regularly, add an offer and share your PlayHouse link where your followers already are.
- How does the referral program work?Share your invite link. When someone you refer earns as a creator, you earn 5% of their sales for 365 days, paid by PlayHouse.
- What can I do if my content is leaked to other sites?Report leaked intimate content or impersonation from Report leaked content or impersonation, and use the DMCA form for copyright takedowns.
- How do I add a watermark to my photos and videos?Turn on the watermark in your settings, and your PlayHouse username is added to the photos and videos you post.
- How do fans tip me?Fans can tip you from your posts, your profile and your chats. There's nothing to switch on.
- How do I request a tip in a message?In a chat, choose Add, then Request a tip. Enter an amount and choose Ask for it. The fan decides whether to pay.
- Who can see my profile and posts?Anyone can see your profile and Everyone posts. Subscribers see your Subscribers posts, Pay to unlock posts are paid once, and sensitive posts stay blurred.
- Is nudity allowed on PlayHouse?Nudity is allowed in posts and messages within our rules, but your profile photo, cover and livestream covers must be safe for work.
- Can my content feature other people?Yes. Explicit content can feature only verified creators tagged by @username, or adults who've completed our co-performer release form.
- Can I post AI-generated or altered content?Label AI-generated or altered content of yourself #ai. Deepfakes of anyone else, and AI chatbots or automated tools writing your messages, aren't allowed.
- What happened to promo codes?Promo codes have been retired. Add a free trial or an intro price to a subscription plan instead.
- What can I charge for a subscription?You set each plan's price yourself, within the minimum and maximum PlayHouse allows for that plan length. The form tells you if a price is outside them.
- What's the difference between a paid and a free account?With a subscription plan, fans can subscribe to see your Subscribers posts. Without one, you still earn from Pay to unlock posts, tips, locked messages and more.
- How do I send locked content in a message?In a chat, choose Add, then Locked media. Add photos or videos, set a price and choose Send locked. The fan pays to open it.
- How do I send a mass message?In Messages, choose Mass message, pick who it goes to, write your message, add photos or videos if you like and optionally lock it with a price.
- How do livestreams work for creators?Open Live from the menu and choose Go live. Add a title, choose free or ticketed, and go live from your browser. Streams aren't recorded.
- How do I set up paid video calls?Set a slot price, length and weekly hours in Video calls, then accept bookings in Orders. Fans are refunded unless you're both in the call for 80% of the time.
- How does content moderation work for creators?Everything you upload is checked before it's published, and our team reviews anything flagged. If we act on your content, we email you the reason and how to appeal.
- Why has my account or content been restricted?The email we sent you says what happened and why. Here's what removed, restricted and warned mean, and how to appeal.
- How do I offer a discount to new subscribers?Set a sale price on a plan to lower it for every new subscriber, or add an offer: a free trial or an intro price for a set number of periods.
- How do I set up auto-messages?Auto-messages send a message you write when someone follows you, subscribes or unlocks one of your posts. Turn them on in Auto-messages.
- How do stories work?Share a photo or video as a story from Create and choose who can see it. Fans view it from the ring on your profile photo for 24 hours.
- How do reels work?A reel is one video up to 60 seconds, free for everyone. Edit it before you upload: PlayHouse has no built-in editor or music library.
- What are lists and how do I use them?Lists group your fans so you can send a mass message to the right people. Some lists are built in, and you can make your own.
- What are profile categories?Categories are labels that describe you and your content. Choose up to 5 in Edit profile.
- Can I link my other social accounts to my profile?Yes. Add links to Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube and Facebook in Edit profile, so fans can find you elsewhere.
- How do I use hashtags?Type # followed by a word in your post or reel caption. Fans can search tags in Explore to find posts like yours.
- What can I show in a livestream?The same rules apply to livestreams as to posts. You also need the rights to any music, games or video you show.
- How do I handle video requests and call bookings?Turn on and price video requests in Edit profile. Requests and call bookings arrive in Orders, where you accept, decline, deliver and open calls.
- How do I choose who can message me and sell VIP messages?In Messaging settings, choose who can message you and set your own VIP message bundles, which let fans write to you whatever your setting.
- How do I create a post?Choose Create, then Post. Add up to 10 photos and videos, write a caption, choose who can see it and when, then choose Share.
