What are profile categories and why do they matter?

Categories are labels that describe you and your content. Fans can browse Explore by category, so picking the right ones helps the right people find you. We also use them to recommend profiles and for moderation.

Choose your categories

1. Go to your profile and select Edit.
2. Select Categories and choose the ones that fit you.
3. Select Update (on a phone, Save).

Keep them accurate. Categories that don't match your content won't bring you the right fans.
