How do I report copyright infringement on PlayHouse?
If you own the copyright in something that's been posted on PlayHouse without your permission, you can ask us to remove it with a takedown notice under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). You don't need a PlayHouse account.
Send your notice with our DMCA takedown form. Our DMCA Takedown Policy explains the process.
What your notice needs
- your signature, or the signature of someone authorised to act for the copyright owner;
- a description of the work you believe was copied;
- the links to where it appears on PlayHouse;
- your address, phone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
Once we receive a notice, we send an acknowledgement and review the content it names.
If your content was removed
If something you posted was removed because of a DMCA notice and you believe that was a mistake, you can file a counter-notice with our counter-notice form. A counter-notice is a legal document, and a copy, including your contact details, may be sent to the person who filed the original notice.
Your content on other sites
If a creator's PlayHouse content has been copied to another website, see My content was leaked to other sites.
If the content is intimate content of you posted without your consent, it's a safety issue, not just copyright. See Can I withdraw consent for content I appear in?.
