Why can't I log in?

There's no password on PlayHouse. You sign in with your email address and a 6-digit code we send you.

Sign in with a code

Go to playhouse.fans, enter your email address and choose Continue with email.
Open the email from us, enter the 6-digit code and choose Continue.
If you've added an authenticator app, enter the code from the app (or a backup code) and choose Continue.

Messages you might see

"That code isn't right." Check you're using the code from the latest email and try again.
"That code has expired.", "Too many attempts." or "That sign-in has expired." Enter your email again to get a new code.
"We just sent a code to this address." Use the code you already have, or ask again in a minute.
"That authenticator code isn't right." See What if two-step verification isn't working?
"We couldn't confirm you're human." Try again. If it keeps happening, try another browser or turn off your VPN.
"Sign-in isn't available right now." Wait a moment and try again.
"This account can't sign in right now." The account has been suspended, frozen or closed. See below.

If we suspended or closed your account

We'll have emailed you a statement explaining why. If you think we got it wrong, use the account appeal form within 6 months. Someone who wasn't involved in the decision reviews it. See How do I appeal a decision?

You used to sign in with a password, Google or X

Passwords and Google and X sign-in have been retired. Enter the email address that was on your account and sign in with a code. If you can't find your subscriptions afterward, see Why can't I find my subscription?

Agencies

Agencies sign in the same way, with an email code and a code from their authenticator app. If you see "Your agency isn't active on PlayHouse yet.", we haven't approved your agency yet, and we'll email you once we have. See How do I sign in as an agency?
