How does PlayHouse protect my account?
Signing in
- You sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email. Each code works once, expires, and stops working after too many wrong tries.
- Sign-in includes an automatic check that you're a person, not a bot.
- You can add an authenticator app as a second step. See Two-factor authentication.
Passwords
- If you use a password, we store only a scrambled (hashed) version, never the password itself.
- Changing or resetting your password signs you out on every device.
Card details
Card details are entered into a form run by our payment provider, Stripe. They go straight to Stripe rather than being stored by PlayHouse.
What others can see
Other people see your public profile. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What you can do
- Keep your email account secure. It's the key to your PlayHouse account.
- Add an authenticator app and keep email two-factor on.
- Never share a sign-in code. We will never ask you for one.
If you find a security problem on PlayHouse, see reporting a security issue.
